Background Info

Part of the enjoyment of our travels is doing the planning. Darryl plans the macro and Jane does the micro. What this means is that Darryl books the flights, hotels, and AirBNB’s. Jane plans the daily itineraries such as scheduling a walking tour, participating in a cooking class, or taking a boat trip. As our kids know, it’s not a Jane trip, if there isn’t a boating experience.

We do our own planning and research for our trips. We do this by reading blogs and travel articles, watching YouTube videos, and getting recommendations from friends.
